Cicilline's office announced he will hold a news conference tomorrow about to the state budget that "fails to give Rhode Island cities and towns the tools they need to provide property tax relief." The news conference will be held tomorrow at 1 p.m. in the mayor’s office at City Hall. According to a news release, the mayor will announce steps the city will take to "address the ramifications" of the budget. Looks like Mayor David Taxilline is getting ready to blame the state budget for his next property tax increase. He has rasied taxes every ytear with the exception of last year.. a re-election year. Coincidence?
