These are stories The Providence Journal is watching today. The first school-based clinics to vaccinate children against swine flu begin Monday at 10 elementary schools. The clinics, which are free and voluntary, will be held in the afternoon or evening for grade-schoolers. Education Secretary Arne Duncan visits North Kingstown, his first Rhode Island visit and one of about a dozen visits to states. It will be Duncan's first stop in Rhode Island on his "Listening and Learning" tour, which kicked off last May. The focus of the one-hour meeting will be the No Child Left Behind Act and its effects on the various roles of support staff in North Kingstown .
