The University of Rhode Island's famed ocean explorer Bob Ballard will be featured on "60 Minutes" Sunday night as he discovers a seventh-century shipwreck off the coast of Turkey. A preview is available on the CBS News Web site.

Correspondent Lara Logan joins Ballard on his vessel,Nautilus, as his crew guides a submersible 1,500 feet underwater and discovers the wreck, covered with very visible amphora. A "60 Minutes" film crew also recently visisted Ballard on URI's Bay Campus, where he showed off his newly completed Inner Space Center.

The Okeanos Explorer, the new research vessel for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration that will be berthed at Quonset Point, is also featured in the program.
