Tuesday's Providence Journal front page continues to cover the dispute between Providence Bishop Thomas Tobin and U.S. Rep. Patrick Kennedy over whether Kennedy should stop taking Communion because of his support for abortion rights.

In a radio interview Monday, Tobin called Kennedy's behavior erratic, but he later said he wasn't referring to Kennedy's well-publicized mental health issues.

Rhode Island Catholics interviewed on Monday had varying reactions to the rift between Tobin and Kennedy.

The discovery of Native American artifacts has stalled an effort to bring sewers to the Warwick coast.

I don't recall Jesus denying anyone during the last supper. The catholic church will be it's own demise being exclusive vs. inclusive. There are plenty other denominations who will welcome those that opt our of the hipocrasy that is the catholic church.
