PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - A Rhode Island man has been sentenced to more than seven years in prison for robbing one bank and attempting to rob another. Craig Shacklock was sentenced Friday to 92 months in federal prison. The 52-year-old Providence man pleaded guilty in August to robbing a teller at a Citizens Bank branch in Providence in January and attempting to rob a different bank in the city earlier in the day. Prosecutors say Shacklock stole $8,150. Police arrested Shacklock after recognizing him from a description that had been broadcast. |
