CRANSTON, R.I. -- The police are investigating after a teenage girl was found unconscious Tuesday afternoon in a ranch-style home at 5 Aetna St. The 16-year-old girl was taken to Hasbro Children's Hospital for treatment and remains there Wednesday morning, Col. Marco Palombo Jr. said. The police chief said he does not know the girl's condition, nor would he say whether she had any apparent injuries or had been sick. The cause of her condition is "presently unknown," according to a statement issued Tuesday evening by the police. "She's at the hospital. They're going to determine her status," Palombo said Wednesday. Palombo would not say whether the police suspect foul play. No one has been arrested, he said. Rescue crews responded to a report of an unknown medical situation at the home at 3:33 p.m. on Tuesday, according to a statement issued by the police. Three minutes later, rescue personnel requested police presence, according to the statement. Palombo would not answer whether the girl lives in the Aetna Street home. Dear Readers,
In an effort to be first we will report about nothing.

Two or three years ago there was a "suspicious death" on Aetna Street in Cranston. What's going on over there?

Dear Hodgey: This (7-to-7 newsblog) is not a published newspaper. It is a breaking-news bulletin and as such can be expected to contain brief, incomplete items as they happen, with more detailed updates later or in the next day's paper. Please adjust your expectations and join me in applauding the Journal for offering this timely service.

Dear Fellow Readers,
I like to read breaking news blogs, then complain that the news is still developing.
Love,

Apparently Hodgey likes to read about nothing. Probably the only thing his pea-sized brain can handle.

What has happened in the home a few years ago was a tragedy. This is a family that has mourned the loss of a daughter, and sister. There is no reason to attack a family that has been through so much pain. The cause of their daughters death was not "suspicious", I was not aware that a death certificate was to be published in a news paper. We all know wthat the word "assume" can stand for something else ....
As for what happened yesterday, extremely sad, heartbreaking. I pray for this girls recovery. No one has been arrested, or held. News reporters in the street during the incident...suspected Swine, along with many others. Until they are able to speak with this girl, and other medical tests are complete, no one should "assume", or lash out at a family that is just as upset and worried as everyone else. I believe everyone who is following this story is hoping and praying for the speedy recovery.

OK, I will try again. This will be the fourth time I tried to respond, but my comments are not posted on this high speed and timely web site.
Elizabeth: I understand this is not a published newspaper, but in my humble opinion this Breaking News is not at all newsworthy. As far as adjusting my expectations if they go any lower I would probably be hanging around with Steve R. and Joromu at the mall.
Steve R: You are a funny guy, keep up the good work. When you have an original thought post it, instead of piling on like the wolf pack. At least Elizabeth has some decency and can form original thoughts.
Joromu: What can I say? Please refer to my expectations comment and also my comments to Steve. When you get out of Middle School let us know.

Hi, Brit is my cousin, we are still trying to figure out what is going on with her. She went for a cat scan thursday morning and are still waiting for results. Her bothers and her 2 sisters are all there by her side along with her mother. They are updating myself and the rest of the family as they get news. She is starting to respond but the doctors said to keep in mind, that it could be just nerves still. Please everyone keep her in your thoughts and prayers, and encourage anyone who knows anything to PLEASE notify someone. If not a family member, do an anoynmous phone call to Hasboro or the police, please do anything you can to help her!!
