CRANSTON, R.I. -- A man was critically injured Sunday afternoon when the motorcycle he was operating and a car collided on New London Avenue, according to the police. The man, whose name the police are not releasing as they work to notify his family, was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, according to a statement issued Monday morning by the police department. The person driving the car was not injured, according to the police. The accident, which occurred at about 12:08 p.m. in the area of 1294 New London Ave., remains under investigation, according to the police.
