PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Frank J. DosReis, the estranged husband of the former driver for ex-Rhode Island Supreme Court Chief Justice Frank J. Williams, testified Tuesday that he felt "initimidated,'' by Williams and was fearful of asking him to butt out of his family's life. DosReis, a veteran corrections officer at the Adult Correctional Institutions, testified that he didn't know how to stop Williams from dropping by the Johnston home he shared with his wife, Pamela, and daughter at least five times a week and staying overnight in a spare bedroom once or twice a month. ``He's the chief justice,'' DosReis said. ``I'm just a corrections officer. What am I going to do? I was intimidated.'' Pamela J. DosReis, a deputy state sheriff, was a driver for Williams for several years while he served as chief justice. She is seeking a divorce from her husband. Tuesday marked the second day of a hearing to determine whether Chief Family Court Judge Jeremiah S. Jeremiah Jr. will lift or modify a restraining order that prohibits DosReis from entering the house he shared with his wife and their 6-year-old daughter. Pamela DosReis was granted the restraining order in September in connection with the divorce petition. The hearing lasted about two hours. After a brief bench conference with Jeremiah, lawyers for the estranged parents were meeting to try to hammer out an amicable solution. Jeremiah may issue a ruling later today. Why does Williams need a driver? That's ridiculous!!

Dare I say it? Only in RI. Hey honey will the chief justice be sleeping over today? What time will he like me to wake him up? Wow.

How dare anyone judge the judge. He is a Rhode Island Supreme Court Chief Justice. No one should question his 100% retirement or his entitlement to sleep at married women's houses. Just be quiet and continue to pay your taxes, or else.

Stop calling him Chief Justice... It's 'Your Highness'.
Where is DCYF and AG Lynch in all this? An unrelated old man bathing a six year old doesn't sound kosher to me. I have seen DCYF remove children from a home for far less than this. I guess the father isn't the only one intimidated by this buffoon.
I guess rank has its privileges, especially in Rhode Island.

Now how is he supposed to get to work? It's a pretty sad day when the Chief Justice can't live with his driver, take her daughter to a dance and watch her bathe. What is this world coming to. I personally think the position of Chief Justice is jinxed.

OK, so Frank Williams is a complete weirdo. Great. Now, tell us something we don't know.

They all deserve each other. Just think they all got thier jobs because they knew a political insider. The RI taxpayers are paying for all thier salaries and pensions. So who getting screwed here.

I hope he got her a low number plate too.

Palazzo..apparently you like to ramble on every blog. Try reading all the information before you comment. The court guardian reports this little girl is doing wonderfully and loves her mother, father & the CJ. There are no criminal charges even being implicated, but you think it is in this childs best interest to be exposed to a DCYF investigation? How "intimidated" is her father, who has been described as an "abusive" person with a very bad temper. Did you ever wonder why the father had nothing to say about the relationship with the chief in almost 7 years until his wife filed a restraining order and a divorce? Maybe the father was enjoying the "fruits of his wifes labor" for the past several years. It seems like he was living a very good life for a long time which has abruptly stopped.

I hope Mr. DosReis doesn't continue getting beat up by the RI Family Court...good luck to him dealing with that anti-father court. The bias against dads in RI is truly amazing, and frightening.

I can see the scene in the courtroom now.
The lawyers finish their arguments.
Jeremiah and Williams go into judges chambers and have a big laugh.
Jeremiah rules against the husband and gives Williams custody after a blood test.

Are you kidding me??? Why would the Chief Justice be going over to the house 5 times a week...where is HIS family????? Is the "good judge" having a good time with his driver...what is wrong with this picture??
Frank, be glad that your wife is divorcing you, she apparently likes the judge more than you..they might be "made for each other"...
Pamela, I think it's a bit creepy that a judge is coming to your house 5 times a week...don't you have friends your own age!?!?!?!

Hey ... Let's build a nice, new, expensive courthouse and name it after him!

Is the Enquirer type of story necessary for Projo to survive? Any other dirt to report, Projo?

What a bunch of gossips.

Why do some people think they have the right to judge others? Think of that innocent little girl and keep your immature and ignorant comments to yourselves.
