PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Gas prices in Rhode Island have taken a 13-cent jump in the past week.

AAA Southern New England says in a weekly survey Monday that the average price of regular unleaded has increased from $2.54 per gallon to $2.67 per gallon, up 5.1 percent.

That's five cents higher than the average price from a year ago at this time.

The state Office of Energy Resources lists the average price as $2.68 a gallon. Here's a list comparing prices by type and date.

In neighboring Massachusetts, AAA reports the average price of regular unleaded at $2.62 in the Boston area, up 12 cents from the previous week.

Nationally, the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline rose for the 13th straight day, adding sixth-tenths of a cent overnight to $2.671, according to auto club AAA, Wright Express and Oil Price Information Service.

Home-heating oil rose 8 cents a gallon, to about $2.75, an increase of 3 percent over last week's level, according to the state survey.
