PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- There's a chance of rain Thursday, primarily after 3 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Otherwise, expect a cloudy day with a high near 47 degrees and a calm wind between 7 and 10 mph.

The temperature should drop to about 37 degrees Thursday night, and rain is expected after midnight.
