'Young Frankenstein' review coming tonight

Journal arts writer Channing Gray plans to walk back tonight from Young Frankenstein at PPAC and blog a short review in the new Projo Arts Blog. A longer review is to follow tomorrow.

The national tour of the Mel Brooks musical opens here in Providence with much of the Broadway cast on the road for the launch, including Roger Bart, who plays Dr. Frederick Frankenstein, and Shuler Hensley as The Monster.

Channing previewed the show and talked to Bart earlier in the week: Young Frankenstein leaps from Broadway to the road.
