Woman hurt in Smithfield crash

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- A woman was seriously injured in a crash on Farnum Pike near Old County Road around 8:30 Wednesday night.

Rescue workers extricated the unconscious woman from her car and took her to Rhode Island Hospital, Providence.
