WASHINGTON -- Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse is scheduled to address the Senate about 12:45 p.m. Thursday. Seth Larson, spokesman for the Rhode Island Democrat, said Whitehouse will speak on the nomination of Sonia Sotomayor to the U.S. Supreme Court. Larson said the speech will be carried on C-SPAN 2.
