Two South Kingstown men have been arrested on burglary and larceny charges connected to a string of about 20 house breaks in Narragansett and South Kingstown since March, police in both towns said Friday. Darrell K. Carter, 25, of 37 Oakdell Street in Peace Dale and Brandon E. Boamah, 26, of 35 Amos Street, off Kingstown Road, were charged with multiple counts of burglary/larceny, entering a dwelling with felonious intent, vandalism and receiving stolen property. Boamah also faces a felony charge for possessing the controlled substance ecstasy, the police said. South Kingstown police records indicate that he turned himself in on Wednesday. South Kingstown Police Capt. Jeffrey Allen said detectives obtained a warrant to search the Amos Street house, where they found some of the electronics that were reported stolen in what Narragansett Capt. Gerald D. Driscoll characterized as a crime spree. The missing items, some of which were recovered, included flat-screen televisions, Wii stations, iPods, laptops, electronic game systems and global positioning devices. Carter was arrested on a warrant served shortly after 9 a.m. on Thursday. Because of the paperwork involved, their cases won't begin until August, Driscoll said. Allen said the arrests were possible because of the cooperation between the two departments. "Our detectives work together almost daily," he said. "Everybody did a phenomenal job." It really ticks me off that anyone thinks they have the right to come into my or your house and take what we have worked so hard to buy.
I hope these guys spend a long time in prison thinking about how it would feel if it happened to them.

why do cops get praised for doing the job they are over paid to begin with. Narragansett cops are the worst when it comes to police work. With out harrassing people for nothing they are pretty much paid to sit in there cars and eaten donuts.
The narragnasett police dept as a whole is a JOKE,
