PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- We could get more wild weather Wednesday.

There's a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 3 p.m., and then showers are likely and a thunderstorm is possible after 3 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Some of the storms could produce hail, gusty winds, heavy rain and frequent lightning, the weather service says.

Otherwise, we'll have a mostly cloudy day with a high near 72 degrees. The wind will blow from the north at about 5 mph.
