Expect sunny skies with a high near 77 degrees in the Providence area, according to the National Weather Service. The wind will blow from the north at 5 to 11 mph. then shift to come out of the southeast. The sky should stay clear tonight with the temperature dropping to 55 degrees. Saturday should be sunny with a high near 80 degrees. There's a chance of showers and thunderstorms Sunday. The temperature should reach about 84 degrees.
