Jim Floroski, 60, was last seen Friday when he dropped off a friend at the boat ramp and said he was headed in his 23 foot boat named Sargent Slaughter to the Harbor of Refuge at Point Judith. The Coast Guard issued an "urgent" marine broadcast Sunday requesting boaters to watch for Floroski's dark green boat with white trim. Crews from the Coast Guard stations at Point Judith and Block Island were searching for Floroski in the area of Great Island, Point Judith Harbor and Block Island. The Coast Guard asked anyone with information about Floroski's whereabouts to call the First Coast Guard District Command Center at 617-223-8555. |
