Just after sundown on Thursday, the braziers in the basin in Waterplace Park will be lit for WaterFire. Volunteers will stoke the fires until 12:30 a.m. The rain and clouds are moving away, and it's supposed to turn into a partly sunny day. Clouds are expected to return tonight, but another round of rain isn't likely to move into the region until tomorrow, according to the forecast. The temperature is expected to drop into the low 50s. The partial lighting is sponsored by the Community Transportation Association. |
