Tiverton woman arrested on drug, stolen car charges

TIVERTON, R.I. -- A Tiverton woman was arrested and charged with driving a stolen car and possession of crack cocaine, the State Police said Friday.

Linda Paiva, 46, of 14 Earle Drive was arrested Thursday after a traffic stop on Main Road around 10:30 p.m.

Paiva was released on surety bail Friday after an initial felony appearance in district court.

A felony screening has been scheduled for July 21.
