PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- A New Bedford, Mass., man is being held at the Adult Correctional Institution on drug charges after a traffic stop on Route 195, according to the State Police. David Melancon, 40, of 556 West Middle St., was charged Thursday with possession of heroin, cocaine and marijuana. Bail was set at $3,000 with surety. |
