PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Expect a mostly cloudy with a high near 75 degrees.

Although it's late June, the wind will again blow from the north, at 7 mph. but then shift to come from the south, according to the National Weather Service.

Thursday night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 63 degrees and a south wind of 5 to 8 mph.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely after 2 p.m. Friday. some could produce small hail and gusty winds. The high should reach 84 degrees.
