WOONSOCKET, R.I. - - A man who went to a residence allegedly looking for crack but without money to pay for it wound up in the hospital with stab wounds early Tuesday morning, according to Woonsocket police. Spencer Eason, 46, of 30 Ascension St., Woonsocket, was listed in stable condition at Rhode Island Hospital, according to Lt. Eugene Jalette of the Woonsocket Police. Eason allegedly went to Teryl Foster's apartment at 73 West St. in Woonsocket looking to buy crack cocaine. Foster refused to open the door when he discovered Eason had no money. An altercation ensued after Eason kicked in the door, according to Jalette. Foster then grabbed a knife and the two men struggled, Jalette said. Foster then grabbed another knife and stabbed Eason three times. CommentsLeave a commentPlease be civil. Vicious comments, personal attacks and profanity won't be published.
