With all the dreary out there, it's time to look on the bright side: Since the official start of summer, we haven't had any snow.

Sure, we just saw the longest day of the year, and the second longest, but that has just given us a few more minutes to enjoy the drizzle.

So far, there has been no report of worms drowning or people's toes webbing over, but In the 93 days since March 20, at least a trace of precipitation has fallen in 58. That's almost two thirds of the days since winter officially ended.

April and May had to share a total of 6 clear days. The sun put in an appearance a few times in June, but it hasn't stayed for a whole day yet this month.

The average temperature in June has been 66, which is 3 degrees cooler than normal.

In the first 21 days of June, 14 were cooler than average and 6 were warmer than average. (Friday, with an average temperature of 69, hit the norm on the nose.)

Not counting Monday, June has had 3.07 inches of rain, but we're still behind for the year. At the end of Sunday, precipitation for 2009 stood at 1.44 inches less than normal.

The first sign of a dry day is Thursday, which the National Weather Service predicts will be mostly sunny with a high of 87,
