By Katie Mulvaney PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The House Judiciary Committee has approved Paul A. Suttell to be the next chief justice of the R.I. Supreme Court. The vote was taken just before 2 p.m. There was no votes against the nomination. The full House will consider the nomination on Tuesday, as will the Senate Judiciary Committee. |
