Final round starts on schedule at CVS Charity Classic

The conditions remain lousy, but the second and final round of the CVS Caremark Charity Classic is underway and progressing as scheduled at Rhode Island Country Club.

Skies remain heavily overcast, but there has been little rain so far. Despite predictions to the contrary, winds remain strong.

In light of the conditions, some changes have been made. Among other moves, the first tee has been moved forward to the members' tee, which gave players a 40-yard head start.

Nick Price and David Toms birdied the second hole to move into a tie for the lead with the team of Billy Andrade and Helen Alfredsson at 6-under. No fewer than five other teams are at 5-under, including the Zach Johnson-Nick Watney and Davis Love-Morgan Pressel teams, both of which have had early birdies,
