Blaze destroys Seekonk barn

SEEKONK -- Fire, its cause not immediately determined, heavily damaged a barn off Route 44 on Sunday afternoon.

No one was inside the building, at the foot of a slope below a house at 10 Meadow Court, when the fire was discovered at about 4:50 p.m., and no injuries were reported. Firefirefighters were still at the scene at 8 p.m.
