By Bryan Rourke David Cook, winner of last year's American Idol show, will be performing at Foxwoods this summer, the casino announced Friday. After winning the seventh season of American Idol, Cook, 26, produced a platinum single, "The Time of My Life," and then the album "David Cook," which features the single "Light On." Tickets for the Aug. 1 show at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods are, $20, $35 and $45. The concert announcement follows Friday's registration for auditions at Gillette Stadium for American Idol's ninth season. At 6:30 a.m. about 1,200 people began registering for the auditions, which will begin Sunday at 5 a.m. |
