They say becoming the next Idol takes dedication, and evidently they're not kidding. Once again, auditions for the TV show American Idol will be held on the grounds of Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass. But if you're looking to make it to Hollywood to sing for Simon, Paula, Randy and Kara, you'd better be an early riser. According to a statement released Thursday by the Fox network, would-be Idols first need a wristband, and they'll be distributed on Friday, June 12, and Saturday, June 13, starting at 7 a.m. That gets you the right to get into the auditions, for which you'll need to get to Gillette by (that's right, by) 5 a.m. Sunday, June 14. For more information, go to the Idol Web site. CommentsLeave a commentPlease be civil. Vicious comments, personal attacks and profanity won't be published.
