WOONSOCKET. R.I. -- The Woonsocket Police are seeking assistance in locating two men wanted in connection with an armed robbery that took place at World War II Park Saturday. The police have arrest warrants for the Randy Lopez, 22, 125 Rathbun St., and Joshua Raymond Gaffney, 23, of 94 Canbury St., Worcester, Mass. The arrest warrants are for armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. The police consider the men armed and dangerous. Gafney is 6'2'', medium build with black hair. Lopez is 5'9'', 185 pounds, short curly hair, a gap in his front teeth and a tattoo of REP on the side of his neck. The police said the two men approached three men near the Snow Street entrance to the park and robbed one of them at gunpoint and fled on foot. They have not been able to locate the men and are seeking help from the public. Anyone with information is asked call (401) 766-1212 or the anonymous tip line at (401) 769-444. |
