PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- A team of five Wheeler School seniors won $10,000 after earning third place in the Moody's Mega Math Challenge. They won after analyzing the question, "787 billion: Will the Stimulus Act stimulate the U.S. Economy?" Contest organizers asked high school students to mathematically assess the parts of the stimulus package most likely to produce the greatest imporvements in employment using mathematical modeling and quantatative analysis. |
