WARWICK, R.I. -- A local woman is being held without bail as a violator after the police arrested her this week on charges of breaking into a house, drug possession and receiving stolen goods.

Stephanie Mary Parrillo, 19, of 28 Lee Ave., is being held at the Adult Correctional Institutions' Women's Facilities in Cranston pending a court hearing.

The police said Parrillo broke into a Gordon Avenue home Monday afternoon. The homeowner, who was home at the time, told police he was in his bed when he heard a noise. When he looked up, he said he saw a bald, white woman in his window holding $20 in cash and his cigarettes. Her body, head, and arms were inside the house, he said.

Parrillo said she had gone to a friend's house to buy OxyContin but ended up in the wrong house. She told police she had knocked on the font door and, when no one answered, on the window as her friend had told her to do. Parrillo said the screen fell and she ran away when the man screamed at her.

The police located Parrillo the following day. She had a small amount of marijuana in her purse, six syringes, a smoking pipe, a spoon with burnt narcotics residue, a small piece of cotton with narcotics residue, three different type of pills in a bottled labeled with someone else's name, four bank checks in the name of her mother's boyfriend, and a driver's license in another woman's name.

She was charged with one count of breaking and entering a house when the resident was home, one count of possession of Schedule I-IV narcotics, one count of possession of marijuana/first offense, and one count of receiving stolen goods (the driver's license).

Bail on those charges was set at $20,000 with surety during an initial felony appearance Wednesday in district court. But Parrillo was ordered held as a bail violator on a 2008 West Warwick case of domestic disorderly conduct and obstructing a police officer and as a probation violator on a 2008 West Warwick case of violating a protective order to which she had pleaded no contest in November.

A no-contact order was also entered.

A felony screening has been scheduled for May 18.
