The tuxedo "tag"
A total of 10,000 tags will be put on tuxedo hangers with the message: "Thinking of drinking this prom season? Don't let this be your prom picture." The tag shows a young driver being put into a police car. "Proms should create lifelong happy memories," said DOT Director Michael P. Lewis in a press release. "These tuxedo tags will remind promgoers that underage drinking has serious consequences." Participating shops are Men's Wearhouse in Providence, Warwick and Cranston; Carl Anthony Tuxedo in Cranston; East Greenwich Formals, East Greenwich; Ana's Bridal & Tuxedo, East Providence; A Formal Wear, Johnston; Viking Tuxedo, Middletown; Jim's Formal Wear, Narragansett; Classic Tuxedo, Providence; Gara's Mens Shop, West Warwick; Melissa's Bridal, Westerly; Celebrations Formals, Woonsocket; Waldorf Tuxedo, Warwick. |
