PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- You don't mess with the Domino's Pizza delivery people. Four days after three men beat him with a pipe and robbed him while he was delivering their pizza, Ceasar Lopez was out with his wife Sunday afternoon when he saw a familiar figure lounging outside a Chinese restaurant on Chalkstone Avenue. It looked like one of the men who'd attacked him outside a vacant house on Lynch Street, in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood. Lopez was sure when he got out of his car -- and the other man ran. Despite his injuries from the beating, Lopez chased and captured the other man, and with his wife's help, held him until the police arrived. Michael Long, 20, of 623 Smith St., Providence, was arrested and held without bail on first-degree robbery and conspiracy. On Monday, the day after Long's arrest, his alleged cohorts, Elvin Delacruz, 25, and Markus Matthews, 20, both of Providence, were apprehended by the police and arrested on the same charges, said Lt. Michael Jackvony. They were also held without bail. CommentsLeave a commentPlease be civil. Vicious comments, personal attacks and profanity won't be published. You go Ceasar. That garbage doesn't deserve to walk the streets for a long time. Thugs are ruining the USA and something needs to be done about this, never mind fees and fines. How about stiffer sentences. Once again good for you Ceasar.

Good job. Shows these punks are nothing more than cowards that are only brave when they roam in packs like dogs. When alone they run like rabbits.
