Peace activists to mark fifth anniversary of their vigil

PROVIDENCE R.I. --On Saturday, peace activists will gather at noon in Memorial Square on South Main Street to protest torture and terrorism, something they have been doing every week for the past five years.

The vigil is sponsored by Rhode Island Project Plowshares, a community of activists who believe that non-violence is the solution to conflicts, whether the are global, local or personal in nature. fore more information, call (401) 247-1434.
