Ryan A. Saunders, who joined the Chorus of Westerly in 1986 as a boy soprano, has been hired as the executive director of the popular singing group. Saunders, who has a masters degree in arts administration from Boston University, was for years an events manager at Tufts University. Now a Natick, Mass. resdient, Saunders begins his new job with the chorus in July. In recent years, he has maintained close ties with the 180-member troupe, serving as vice president and a member of the board, as well as volunteering at the chorus' summer camp in New Hampshire. |
