NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- A 46-year-old woman was charged with simple assault Friday after she allegedly poured a five-gallon bucket of ice water from her deck at 1560 Douglas Ave. onto a neighbor and her son below. The police said Marissa L. Gabriele told them she was merely watering her plant, but they noted that while her deck and the one below were soaking wet, her small potted plant was dry. I read at WPRI that the son was 5 years old. What kind of person dumps five gallons of ice water on a five year old? Scary these kind of people are walking around among us.
