PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The police are asking city license regulators to revoke the liquor license of Level II, a downtown dance club. The proprietors of Level II are responsible for violence and rowdiness that has occurred inside and in the immediate area outside, and for having served underage customers, the police allege. The police have listed at least 22 incidents from November 2007 through April 5 in which the proprietors or their customers have violated the law. A hearing has been scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday by the city Board of Licenses. Level II is at 101 Richmond St. |
