PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- This weekend is the final day for ice skating at the Bank of America City Center Skating Rink at Kennedy Plaza.

More than 46,000 people took advantage of the outdoor skating experience during the winter season, and as a way of showing thanks to its loyal patrons, the Providence Parks department is charging skaters half price both Saturday and Sunday.

The fee for all skaters will be $3 and skate rentals have been reduced to $2. For more information
