State representatives introduce Carcieri's budget

PROVIDENCE -- State representatives officially introduced a bill that reflects Governor Carcieri's proposed budget this afternoon.

The bill is being sponsored by all six House Republicans. The lead sponsor is Robert A. Watson, the House minority leader.

Republicans in the House had refused to sponsor the bill yesterday.
