Penelope Cruz wins best supporting actress at Oscars

Spanish actress Penelope Cruz accepts the Oscar for best supporting actress for her work in Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

Viola Davis, who grew up in Central Falls, did not win the Oscar for best supporting actress for her role in Doubt. That honor went to Penelope Cruz for her role in Vicky Cristina Barcelona.
