An accident in the left lane on Route 10 southbound at Union Avenue in Providence has stopped westbound traffic on Route 6.

In addition to the usual Friday night congestion, the Rhode Island Spring Flower & Garden Show is opening, and the Providence Bruins are playing Manchester, N.H., Monarchs at the Dunkin' Donuts Center, where it's Winter Hat Night.

Westbound traffic on Route 195 is also heavy at the merge with Route 95.
