Providence police this morning are looking for three men responsible for a broad daylight home invasion yesterday afternoon. Sgt. Paul Renzi reports that three suspects - one armed with a handgun and another with a knife - forced their way into a third-floor apartment at 43 Vineyard St. on Providence's south side at around 4 p.m. No one was injured, Renzi said, but the men made off with an Xbox, flat-screen television, laptop computer and clothing. They fled in "an older model" white van, according to Renzi. The incident is under investigation. |
