Principal Rob Pilkington said he cancelled classes because the people working on the furnace could not assure him yesterday when it would be repaired. The school's 190 students were evacuated to the Stadium Theatre across the street from the school after the furnace overheated. The malfunction caused dangerous levels of carbon monoxide to flow through the school, according to Deputy Chief Marcel Bacon.
