The FBI is asking the public's help after a woman was abducted in Cranston on Tuesday morning by an unknown white male who was armed. An FBI news release today said the woman was opening the nail salon Y D Nails, at 789 Atwood Ave., Cranston, when she was abducted at about 9:30 a.m. She was released at about 11:15 a.m. at the South Shore Plaza in Braintree, Mass. Braintree police took the woman to South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, Mass., from which she has been released. The FBI said law enforcement officials want to speak with anyone who has information about the abduction or witnessed it. The FBI asks people to call Cranston police at (401) 477-5143. Names of those who provide information will be kept confidential, the FBI said. |
