RICHMOND, RI -- Chariho Regional School District officials are repairing an outside wall of a high school science class that was smashed by a plow removing snow during the New Year's Eve snowstorm. Supt. Barry J. Ricci said workers had demolished yesterday a portion of the wall that had cracked around the collission point and were repairing the wall today. Most of the damage was to the exterior of the building, mainly the brick and cinder block, Ricci said. A window was also damaged as well as a countertop inside the classroom. Ricci said classes will resume Monday as scheduled. The damaged room should also be open as the damaged area was partitioned off, Ricci said. |
