PAWTUCKET -- The pre-inaugural celebration has started and the weather forecast calls for more snow, but 55 Obama supporters will be racing the weather -- and time -- traveling overnight, by bus, to Washington. The bus, chartered by the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council, will leave the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence at 10 p.m. -- or as soon as all 55 arrive. The $139 ticket comes with a packet of information, including a Metrorail System Map, and an inaugural commemorative scarf. |
