A supervisor for Continental Airlines, who did not identify himself, said his airline started cancelling flights at 6 a.m. due to weather conditions in destination cities. So far, all runways are open and crews continued treating the runways this afternoon as the snow started to accumulate. If you are traveling this weekend or picking someone up, check with your airline before heading to the airport. In some cases, flights won't be rescheduled until Monday.
