NORTH KINGSTOWN -- Route 4 northbound traffic should be able to access Route 403 and the Quonset Business Park as of this afternoon, the state Department of Transportation said this morning. The new connecting ramp, Exit 7, is part of the $130-million Route 403 relocation project in East Greenwich and North Kingstown to improve access to Quonset Business Park. It's expected to open by 3 this afternoon, DOT spokeswoman Fran Segerson said today.
Currently, northbound traffic has to take Route 1 or Route 4's exit 6 (Route 2/South County Trail) and then use local roads. |
