PROVIDENCE -- Children's Neurodevelopment Center at Hasbro Children's Hospital will hold its 7th annual Respite Day tomorrow. Respite Day is a daylong event that allows parents to leave their special-needs children in the care of skilled hospital staff from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be held at the Hasbro Children's Hospital, 593 Eddy St. Children get to play, under the close supervision of nearly 50 experienced hospital staff and volunteers while their parents get to run some errands or simply take a day off. This year's Respite Day is funded through the sales of pins with CNDC images on them. |
