In Jamestown, a few roads were shut down due to flooding, but have since reopened, according to dispatcher Robert Rexter. North Road, Conanicus Avenue and Beavertail Road near Mackerel Cove were all closed this morning while the DOT picked up debris and cleared the roadways. Besides that, Rexter said, the Police Department has had no weather related calls save for a few flooded basements. -- Journal staff writer Talia Buford |
